Kizomba is a popular dance style originating from Angola in Africa. It is a smooth, sensual and romantic partner dance that is performed to music that typically features a slow and steady African rhythm. Kizomba has gained popularity in recent years, especially in Europe and other parts of the world, and is often danced at social events and dance festivals. The hype of the past few years is argued to the fact that Kizomba is one of the most modern dances. New Instruments, modern music and drum patterns envelope this dance faster and faster. The dance style is characterized by its close embrace and smooth, flowing movements that are inspired by African rhythms and rhythms from the Caribbean.
